Having my own business creates my own dream job scenario, enables me the benefits that come with being self-employed, be that project led or hired for other projects, while giving opportunities to possibly do employed work on the side as well which I can also gain benefits from that, in the form of solid portfolio work and network opportunities.
Media Story Productions will enable opportunities for a lot of learning which I do love, combining my key passions with music and history, lots of personal growth due to the multi-faceted nature of the business, also it allows me to work both academically, creatively and socially which is a huge deal for me and something that I find working in employment does not fully tick for me.
Financially and in terms of time management, Having your own business does facilitate choice in these areas, which is an ongoing development for myself naturally as I grow my own understanding and skill set. Like I am sure with many people starting out, there is lots to think about but if the marketing campaign has taught me something, is that I do know that my concept is well liked and I intend on pursuing on growing it to see how it will go and what I can get from it along the way.
I believe this unique blend, however hard generally, to establish my dream career would provide a lot of opportunities and choice, hopefully with financial support preferably in a sustainable manner that I can grow from and be in position that I can give support myself while I have strength in my corner.
